Great insight into the life of our greatest generation and the sacrifices they went through for our nation. Rick's chapter ending narrative was unique and insightful. A must read for WW2 followers.
Rick did a great job on writing this story. A collection of memories, stories, interviews, his dad's journal and endless hours of research made this book interesting to everyone. You didn't need to know Nello personally, as by then end of the book, you will know Nello and his crew in your heart.
An amazing book on survival, courage and strength, written with respect, pride and love.
